Colorful Satin Wedding Shoes!

I got my shoes today! They're a fun pair of satin slingback platforms...with a poof! I might replace the poof with a crystal shoe clip, but I haven't decided. They're so cute! Okay, so what makes them modern is that they're a bright color. Colorful bridal shoes are in. You see them everywhere in so many great shades! No more white shoes (thank Goodness)! Yet my bridal shoes are vintage in their details: 1950's pin-up girl style platforms, vintage turquoise-blue in color, and there is just something old about satin shoes... I'm not going to reveal them until the wedding day. But check out some of these colorful examples from real brides:

I love, love, love all of these shoes, especially the yellow polka dot ones. I'm having a yellow-and-white polka dot theme at my wedding, and these shoes would be absolutely perfect!! Can you post the brand of the shoes? Thanks so much!

Hi,

I don't know the brand. But you can find similar ones at electriqueboutique.com and 6pm.com . Take a look here: http://www.thefind.com/query.php?query=polka+dot+heels

Good luck!

My friend really wants the blue suede manolo blahnik shoes. Do you know where she could get them?

do you know where you found the blue suede shoes? I've been searching the internet for them and can only find white ones like it. Thanks.

@ Liz: I think I got that image of those Manolos from http://www.eluckydesigns.com/ a while back.

Don't sneer, but have you seen the DB knock-offs? They're satin, not suede, and they're slingbacks, not dorsay, but they have a ton of dyable colors including that blue. http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplayView?storeId=10052&catalogId=10051&categoryId=-49981499&currentIdx=7&subCategory=-49998498%7c-49997996%7c-49981499&catentryId=6087426&sort=

Thanks for your suggestions. I was actually thinking about using some shoes from DB and adding some vintage shoe clips.

I also came across this website too: http://intheircloset.com/designer-fashion-4-less-manolo-blahnik-sedaraby-dorsay-pumps/

Even if I had found the blue suede shoes, I probably couldn't afford them anyways. :-)

@ Liz: I think the ones you found on DB are fantastic! And a vintage shoe clip would add a really nice touch. Especially if the clips are unique and one of a kind!

I saw the intheircloset.com link before. None of those lovely shoes come in the blue? The Pelle ones are the nicest, but again, the DB ones you found are pretty great!

I spent $70 on my wedding shoes, so clearly I don't believe in spending a fortune. It's what 'works' more than what's expensive, in my opinion! Wish you the best on you upcoming wedding!

Anonymous: I got that image from Hello Lucky. Have you checked out Nine West's Udell and Luxious?

I love the purple shoes, can anyone give some advice on where I can find them??? I really love the purple one on the page.

Also I am in a bind, do I want to be the only one with purple shoes and put my brides maids in a different color so there is a contrast? Suggestions?
